Parenting & Family
Being a parent is the most important job we will ever have. It can also be the most trying & challenging job we ever have, all be it the most rewarding.
At The Essential Life, we believe it takes a village to raise a child. That may not mean living communally with your neighbours & taking turns looking after everyone's children, but we do believe successful parenting involves a collaborative effort which extends beyond mom, dad & the home. To this end, The Essential Life is here to help moms & dads live The Essential Life through a collaborative effort with The Essential Life community. Our vision is to provide an online space where moms & dads stationed in even the most remote areas of our globe, can seek guidance, wisdom & support from like-minded parents from around the world, right here on The Essential Life.
It is our hope that, by creating a space just for parents to share their thoughts, feelings, frustrations & wisdom, we might provide others with a feeling of connectedness to a network of individuals with their hearts & mind set on elevation & on elevating themselves & their community. Our goal is that no parent, should face the challenges associated with parenting alone.
If you'd like to contribute to The Essential Life & be a part of the village raising enlightened & accepting children who will lead our world into a brighter future, we'd love to hear from you. You can submit your parenting article here.
Sometimes, there is more to being a parent than having a child. Too often, our children' lives are cut short, or they aren't given the chance to begin. The Essential Life believes that these experiences are parenting experiences & that the parents of children who are no longer with us have wisdom to give & support to receive. While the loss of a child is difficult & something most will never get over, The Essential Life seeks to be their port in a storm. We invite you to share your unique & painful experience as a parent. If you'd like to share your words & wisdom with The Essential Life community, you can share here.
